What are the signs your roof is close?
Granules collecting in gutters and at downspout exits. Shingle edges that look curled or “dog-eared” from the ground. Dark streaks that don’t wash off (algae — cosmetic on its own, but common on aging roofs here). Shingles that look patchworked or replaced in spots after past storms. What does ventilation have to do with it?
